Writing fatigue

A few weeks ago, Ryan built a frame for our vines to climb.  I saw a cucumber plant poking its head out this morning, so hopefully the work wasn't for naught.  But I only posted this picture because a blog post without photos is boring.  People like pictures, people!

I haven't been doing any physical labor like that, but I certainly feel like it. I'm working on a top secret writing project, and it is exhausting.  Over 10,000 words in two days.  I can hear some of my former grad school colleagues scoffing because that's not even a tiny master's thesis worth of content, but hell, I'm not Chris Hitchens who could write an eloquent, publishable 100 page masterpiece in a matter of minutes, all while carrying on a surprisingly insightful conversation about grasshopper mutilation with the Pope.  And I'm rusty from doing a year of short blog posts that only require a shot of whiskey and a sick imagination.

I still have a lot more to go.  What can I do to improve my stamina?  Watch Biggest Loser, of course!  Yup, that's the ticket.
